J.R. Sharma Girls Teachers Training College is one of the leading teacher training colleges in Udaipur. It is affiliated to Mohanlal Sukhadia University and is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (CBJM). This college is an educational project of Rajasthan Bal Kalwan Samiti. This college provides female teacher training and works towards the development of rural and backward societies of Rajasthan.
Mr. Jivatram Sharma laid the foundation of Rajasthan Child Welfare Committee by establishing a primary school in 1981 with an aim to bring Socio-Cultural change in the society. Rajasthan Bal Kalyan Samiti runs several projects and educational activities like 8 colleges, high school (art, science and commerce), upper primary schools, tribal girls hostel, female teacher training college, College of Nursing, destitute creche, educational complex, 50 informal education centers, 4 special schools, child labor, infant crib centers, Balwadi, cultural development, etc.
